Complete Roofing: Cost Savings in Burlington with Added Insulation
In March of 2012, the Ontario Building Code increased the minimum allowable R-value in attics to R50. Many older homes actually carry an R-value of R18 or less! Poorly insulated attics can lead to a loss of up to 30% of your heating and cooling costs. Your heating and cooling dollars are escaping through your attic!
A properly insulated attic will save you money and make your home more comfortable in both winter and summer. Increasing your attic insulation can also prevent ice dams and reduce the risk of mold developing due to excessive condensation.
In 2012 Complete Roofing purchased our own blown-in insulation truck and equipment.
We are the only roofing contractor in the area to offer this service in house. Complete Roofing is the only roofing contractor with an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor status for our insulation installations.
The installation of blown-in fiberglass insulation in your attic can be completed through an inside attic access or through the roof. We always prefer to enter the attic through the roof. Whenever possible we will top up your attic insulation on the same day as your roof is being replaced.
